Helsinkipro – Music Agency & Record Label

Brand Identity

 

Helsinkipro is currently one of the most important agencies in the music industry in Spain. The company founded in 2014 and focused at that time on the electronics and EDM circuits of the moment began as a booking and management company with DJs such as DJs from Mars, Vitalic, Vallès…etc.

 

Soon their musical restlessness and predilection for the Spanish indie scenes and the new urban music led them to take a more alternative direction and to work on new niches and genres, abandoning the first stage. It is during this period that artists such as Mueveloreina, Cecilio G, Pedro LaDroga, Cariño, Luna Ki, Pantocrator, VVV[trippin’you], the multi-platinum $kyhook, the Grammy-nominated producer Inner Cut, Slecta, joined the agency. .etc. In this way, the agency consolidates itself as one of the most eclectic and solvent companies on the scene, achieving in a few years the respect and recognition of a large part of the industry and positioning itself as one of the key players within the Spanish music scene.

 

The agency is growing in artists and functions as well as equipment and covering more and more aspects within the production chain of the sector. Distribution, digital marketing, communication strategies and RRSS, press, editorial management, record label, management, event producer, booking agency… The endless aspects covered made it difficult when facing the new identity that we had to work out.

 

After various sessions with the founders trying to understand and bring together all the fronts that Helsinkipro covered, we reached a key conclusion to proceed to establish the starting point for the new image of the label. Helsinkipro is a guide. A guide in the music industry, where if you don’t have the right one it can turn out into a real hell. His expertise in all the different phases that an artist needs to show out his work and reach the audience Helsinkipro was a real expert in knowing and working in all the steps and touching all the buttons needed to make an artist grow, not only in numbers, but also artistically ampliflying their voice and reaching new audiences.

That is why we came up with the idea of using the polar star, the one that has guided navigators from all over the world to their destination for centuries, as the main logotype for the agency’s new image. A star that guides future and present pop stars. To consolidate its image as a digital and modern agency, a typeface with great weight was chosen: Univers 85 Extra Black for the headers and the main logo, and Univers 55 Roman for all communications and corporate texts, consolidating an image of renewal and modernity as well as seriousness.

The logo is designed to be seen and stand out in the various applications that a company like this requires, from record credits, video clips, posters, newsletters…etc. The weight of the H and the K together with the star immediately generate an image in accordance with the values and weight that the company currently carries out in the Spanish music industry and perfectly condense its values and functions within it.
